In 1999, Canadian indie pop band Len released a song that can still be heard and enjoyed to this day, almost 20 years later. Steal My Sunshine was a huge pop success in the summer of 1999 and was the lead single released from their debut album, You Can't Stop The Bum Rush. The song is the essence of a happy, sunshine pop song. In late 2017, at djdiamonddog.com, I've decided to remix this one (which, by the way, is still one of my favorite pop songs of all time) and add a little hip hop flavor from rap giant, 50 Cent. The original vocals from Fifty can be heard from his single Disco Inferno which is available on his 2005 album, the Massacre.
While retaining much of the original sound, the Steal My Sunshine (rabid remix) boasts a bit of a percussion increase along with some samples to go along with the 2 verses from 50 Cent. You can stream Steal My Sunshine (rabid remix) right here or at djdiamonddog.com (you can also stream the video below). If you're the type that wants your music available locally, then be sure to download it here. The download contains the radio version, an instrumental, and an extended untagged version for the DJ's.
