TLC - No Scrubs (Party Up Bootleg)

In 1999, TLC released one of the most infectious anthems for the ladies ever heard. No Scrubs described independent women and the fact that they needed NO man... well, at least no scrub. The song shot into the top 10 in many countries worldwide as well as peaking at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US. This release is timeless and still gets the women moving and singing when it comes on.

The year is 2016 and DJ Diamond Dog has bootlegged not 1 but 2 versions of this classic. Earlier this year, there was the more mellow version featuring the beat from Same Old Love by Selena Gomez (you can listen to this version at djdiamonddog.com). Now, there is the much more upbeat and higher energy version of this song laid out over the beat from Party Up by DMX as well as a featured performance by Fat Man Scoop. This high energy version is guaranteed to get a great response from the ladies at any get together or bar/club venue.

You can sample No Scrubs (Party Up Bootleg) and you can also download it for your music collection. There is also a remix video that you can watch here.

Sexual Healing Fix (Marvin Gaye vs Nelly vs Max-A-Million)

Today, I am featuring 3 chartbusters from 3 different eras all rolled up into one mashup. In the 80's, Sexual Healing was first put out by Marvin Gaye and it was a smash hit that still resonates today. In the 90's, Max-A-Million remade this classic and added some reggae & house flavor to it. The end result? Another smash hit. In 2015, Nelly & Jeremih did a song that features the timeless words from the hooks of these 2 songs... baaaaaaby... the Fix. Yet again... another smash hit. The end result is approximately a 35 year time span and 3 smash hits utilizing either the same or very similar hooks.

So, what better way to celebrate these 3 classics than to put out a mashup featuring all 3 of these songs, fused together as one. You can dance to it or you can grind to it. This is the mashup that extends to both high energy and mellow crowds. So get on board and check out Sexual Healing Fix (Marvin Gaye vs. Nelly vs. Max-A-Million). You can also download this mashup for your own personal use. It is untagged, so it will be very useful for the DJ's.

Thanks for the support and please share my music and website with your friends.

Positive Vibes Mix

With all the negative events taking place these days, I felt it was necessary for a mix with some positive content in it. So, here it is... Positive Vibes. This is just a short, 30 minute mix... but it features music withOUT today's pop content... guns, drugs, sex, etc. This mix features music from as far back as 50 years right up to the present day. When classics like December 1963, the Payback and Could You Be Loved team up with more modern classics like Summertime, Yeah and Good Day, the result is a very positive, happy, feel good mix... a mix that just makes you wanna fire up the BBQ, go to the beach and just enjoy life!! That's what this mix is all about.

So, if you want a different style mix in your ipod, without all the negativity, then you have to check out Positive Vibes. It's free and it's completely untagged, so you can stream it to your computer, tablet or mobile phone. You can also download it to add to your music library.

This is a great mix. And although it's short, it will leave you feeling uplifted. Please check this one out and share it with your friends. This is the type of music we need to hear in this world filled with hate and violence. I'd like to send a big thanks to everyone who supports me and follows my views on this.

I Gotta Gold Digger ('Ye vs. Ray)

It all started in 1954, when a little known artist by the name of Ray Charles (you may have heard of him) dropped a little track by the name of I Got A Woman and it hit number one on the R&B chart. The song was so popular that it has been covered by everyone from the Beatles to John Mayer. Fast forward 51 years to 2005 and yet another song utilizing the harmony is released. This time it is Jamie Foxx on the vocals (changed up from the original) over a Kanye West track you may have heard called Gold Digger. The stage is now set for this mashup.

Tack on another 11 years (62 years from the original song's release) and you can hear a very smooth fusion of these 2 tracks. The original melody remains throughout the mashup, yet allows 'Ye to do his thing as well. You can sample I Gotta Gold Digger right here and you can also download it for your music collection here. The download features the track as a clean version as well as an extended 8 bar intro & outro (also clean) for the DJ's.

There will be more summer releases coming soon!! Check out the main website at djdiamonddog.com  and be sure to like my page at facebook.com/djdiamonddog for all of my releases and news.

Ludacris - Area Codes (rabid remix) (ft 50 Cent and Nate Dogg)

In the early 2000's, Ludacris was huge... as well as Nate Dogg... as well as 50 Cent. Area Codes, which can be heard in the original Fast & Furious movie, but is not on the soundtrack, was a big urban hit. It implemented the smooth R&B vocals of Nate Dogg with the gritty, party lyrics of Ludacris.

In 2016, 15 years later, I have remixed this classic by adding a smooth R&B sample from the 1997 hit Too Close by Next to compliment the smooth vocals from Nate Dogg. You can also hear 50 Cent and his sexually charged lyrics get into the action. This is a smooth R&B/hip hop crossover remix. You can stream Area Codes (rabid remix) above and you can download the remix single here (feat. an extended, instrumental & acapella). This is yet another untagged remix, so it will be very friendly for the DJ's.

Stay tuned to djdiamonddog.com for more great summer music coming soon!!

Linkin Park - Wretches & Kings (feat Chuck D)

This was originally remixed in 2010 and featured on the Platinum Band mixtape. Wretches & Kings is already a high-powered political track in it's original form. However, it takes a whole new level once Chuck D drops lyrics on it. The entire track is a powerful, conscious, political track, and speaks against the injustices of a corrupt government. Injustices that have been present for centuries. If you like conscious music, then this one is great for you.

You can stream Wretches & Kings (rabid mix) video above and you can also download it here. If you enjoy it, please view & share it via my YouTube link. There can never be too many ears to listen to a consciously political track, especially at a time when politics appears to rule everything.

Thanks for your support. And please, research and question EVERYTHING... especially before you vote this year.
